Hi!

Hamilton died because the the bullet landed right between his ribs. This not only affected Hamilton, but also his family and America because he was a Founding Father.

Burr, on the other hand, was accused of murder. He practically ruined his career for killing a Founding Father. He went from a powerful young politician to a penniless nobody.

Hugs!

Hamilton ended up getting shot by Aaron Burr in the duel, because Hamiltion pointed his pistol towards the sky and Burr shot him.
