A little jewish boy who is around 8 or 7 years old is held prisoner in a nazi concentration camp. His hands are raised up, his face shows fear, he has surrendered probably to an SS soldier. In his stare we can see all the suffering of his peoble, of innocent children condemned just by their beliefs. A woman is looking at him, probably his mother. She is marked with the jewish star, he does not have it, he limits himself to follow her. Both fates seem sealed, the mother gave all the protection she could before death. The image of the boy, lost, innocent, will remind us and future generations not to make the same mistakes.
