Answer:

There are 2 bricks in the bag.

Explanation:

Let n represent the number of bricks in the bag. Then:

(3/4 lb)n = 1 1/2 lb total; find n by dividing both sides by (3/4 lb)/brick:

1 1/2 lb

n = --------------------- = 2 bricks

3/4 lb/brick

There are 2 bricks in the bag.

Answer:

ok so each brick is 3/4 of a pound so we wont to know how many times 3/4 goes into 1 1/2

so lets just count up 3/4

3/4 =1

1 1/2=2

so 2 times

Hope This Helps!!!
