A charge is moving downwards so let say this downwards direction is along -z direction

Also here magnetic field is given towards left so let say left direction is towards -x direction

now we have to find force direction so as we know that force on a moving charge is given by


F = q(\vec v * \vec B)

so here we have


F = q(v(-\hat k) * B(-\hat i))


F = qvB(\hat j)

so force is along +Y direction
