f(x) = {2x}^(2) - 4x - 6 \\ {2x}^(2) - 4x + 3x - 6 \\ = 2x(x - 2) + 3(x - 2) \\ g(x) = {x}^(2) - 4 \\ (x + 2)(x - 2) \\ (f(x))/(g(x)) = ((2x + 3)(x - 2))/((x + 2)(x - 2)) = (2x + 3)/(x + 2)
