92/2 gives you how many they sold in one month, which is 46. now add that to 92 to get how many to buy in 3 months.
92+46=138.

they need a minimum of 138 jeans

For this case we have the following rule of three:

92 pairs of jeans are sold in two months, then:

92 pairs ----------> 2 months

You want to know how many you would sell in 3 months:

x pairs ------------> 3 months

So:

92 pairs ----------> 2 months

x pairs ------------> 3 months

x = \frac {3 * 92} {2}\\x = 138

Thus, for three months at least 138 pairs of jeans will have been sold

Answer:

138
