Rewrite the equation so it is in slope intercept form

y = -8x+16

The slope is -8 and the y intercept is 16

The y intercept ( y it crosses the y axis is 16)

The slope is -8. It goes down 8 and to the right 1 . That point would be ( 1, 8). Go down 8 and to the right 1 again (2, 0)

It crosses the x axis at (2,0)
