(y+5)=\frac{1}{2}(x-4) in point slope form

Explanation:

The point slope form of a line is
(y-y_1)=m(x-x_1) where
x_1=4\\y_1=-5. We write


(y--5)=m(x-4)\\(y+5)=m(x-4)

We know m the slope is
(1)/(2) and we substitute.


(y+5)=(1)/(2)(x-4)
