Answer:

1075=25x

Explanation:

Given : Donna is planning to take a trip to Spain that will cost $2,927.

She has already saved 1,852.

To Find : Which equation can be used to find x, the number of lawns Donna will need to mow in order to have enough money for her trip?

Solution :

Since we are given that Donna is planning to take a trip to Spain that will cost $2,927.

She has already saved $1,852.

So, amount she required more to save = 2,927-1,852 = $1075

Now to earn remaining money Donna will mow lawns for $25 per lawn.

Let she mow x laws to earn $1075

Since cost of 1 lawn is $25

So, cost of x lawns = 25x

Thus the required equation :

1075=25x

(1075)/(25) =x

23=x

Thus she require to mow 23 lawns.

Hence the required equation is 1075=25x
