How does the spread of a foodborne pathogen in compared to the spread of the person to person pathogen?

The spread of a disease from one person to another is called transmission. There are many different types of transmission and each one involves a pathogen and ahost. The pathogen can be abacterium, a virus, a fungus, aparasite, or a prion (a protein particle). These are the infectious agents that cause illness.
