Since, x = rcosΘ and y = rsinΘ

So, x = 3cosπ/2 = 3×0 = 0 ∵ cosπ/2 = 0

And y = 3sinπ/2 = 3×1 = 3 ∵ sinπ/2 = 1

Hence rectangular coordinates of given polar coordinates is ( 0 , 3)
