Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer:

P = ( sqrt(2)/2), sqrt(2)/2 )

Discussion:

The circle has a radius of 1 as passes it passes through the point (1,0). P makes an angle of 45 degrees with respect to the positive x axis, so by the Pythagorean theorem (or equivalently, trigonometry),

P = (x,y) = ( rcos@, rsin@) = (1 cos(45), 1 sin(45)) =

( sqrt(2)/2), sqrt(2)/2)

Thank you,

MrB
