Your family is moving to a new house. While lifting the box 1.5 m straight up you exerted a force of 200 N for 1 second. How much work is required?

If you lifted 200 Newtons 1.5 meters straight up, you did 300 joules of work no matter how fast or slow you did it.

If you did it in 1 second, then you did it at the rate of 300 watts.
