The answer is -720.

An exponent simply means multiplying a number by that same number.

So, plugging -2 in for x, you have -2*-2*-2, which equals -8.

Then, plugging -3 in for y, you have -3*-3, which equals 9.

Since the numbers are sitting right next to each other, it's multiplication.

-8*9= -72

Remember, there is also a 10 sitting out front. So multiply the -72 by 10 and your final answer ends up being -720.
