The difference in the height of the two rectangles is 7 feet.

One rectangle has a height of 6.2 feet and another has a height of y feet.

What is the value of y?

y = 13.2ft

Explanation:

This is a bit of trial and error.

We know that the height of one rectangle is 6.2ft, which means we cannot subtract 7 from 6.2 to find the height of the other rectangle as it will give us a negative value and it will not make sense.

Therefore the height of the other rectangle has to be 7ft higher.

y = 6.2 + 7 = 13.2ft
