Energy
Energy is the ability to do work. Energy can be stored and measured in many forms.
Work
Work is said to be done when a force is applied on a body and the body get displaced. For example, when we push a table it means we are applying a force over a distance therefore we are doing work.
Work and energy are alike, but they have some difference. Work have a closed relation with energy. According to work energy principle an increase in the kinetic energy of an object occur due to an equal amount of positive work done on the object by the resultant force acting on that object.
Both work and energy has same Si unit that Joule.
Energy can also measure in calorie
Suppose you have eaten too much it means you have consumed many calories of energy and you want to loose some calories for that purpose you have to do some work like walking or exercising. This example shows the relation between energy and work.
Whenever a work is done some energy is lost or energy is needed to do a work.
work, and power are all alike, but all the while very different. Energy is the effort that you have to muster to put into work which is force and direction working together.
power is the amount of willpower that is required to do work to move the object when we recognize the amount of gravity and force on the object. Power means how quickly energy is used. power and energy has same relationship like relation between speed and distance. It means more power means more energy will used with respect to time
SI Unit of power is pascal
