In a sale, a table costing £160 is reduced in price by 25%. What is the new price? How do you work this out?

First you must find 25% of $160


First, I found out what is 25% of 16


Next, made 25% = 1/4


Then, 1/4 of 16 is also 16 divided 4 and you will get 4


Then, you add the zero on the back and make it $40


Finally, subtract 40 from 160 and that will be your answer


160 - 40 = $120
