step one, find the important words: 1.99,1,6,7.33 and 8.2

step two, what are we trying to find: If you have $8.25, can you buy another can of beans?

step 3, how did I solve this: since we got one bag of rice (1.99) and the other 6 are black beans all we need to do is subtract 7.33 with 1.99 and we get an answer of 5.34 and now we just need ÷ by 6 so 5.34 ÷ 6 is 0.89 cents and we add that to 7.33 and we get 8.35 so the answer is true .
