Answer:

Answer is option A which is -11

Explanation:

Given:

y=
3-(x)/(2) ..........................(i)

3x + 4y = 1 ..........................(ii)

To find:

value of x = ?

Solution:

We know the value of y from the equation (i)

We can get the value of x by putting the value of y in equation (ii)

From equation (i)

y=
3-(1x)/(2)

Putting this value in equation (ii)

3x + 4y = 1

Putting y in here it becomes

3x + 4(
3-(x)/(2))=1

multiplying 4 inside

3x +12 -2x=1

Subtracting 12 from both sides

3x+12-12- 2x=1-12

3x- 2x=-11

solving it gives

x=-11
