Violet light has a very short wavelength. How will violet light react in the process of dispersion?

Violet light will bend a lot.

Violet light will not bend at all.

Violet light will bend a little.

In dispersion Phenomenon the bending of light depends on the formula

\delta = (\mu - 1)A

here A is angle of prism

\mu = refractive :\index

now here we know that value of refractive index will inversely depends on the wavelength of light

so here we will have maximum value of refractive index for violet light as we can see that its wavelength is minimum.

Since its refractive index is maximum so it will bend by maximum angle

so here correct answer will be

Violet light will bend a lot.
