The answer would be E. I am sure of it because it was on one of my assignments in Physics.

The net force is zero on any object that's not accelerating ... the speed and direction of its motion aren't changing.

That's true of any object that's moving in a straight line with constant speed, or else not moving at all.

So the correct choice is E .
