Answer:

7x - y = 5

Explanation:

the equation of a line in standard form is

Ax + By = C ( A is a positive integer and B, C are integers )

obtain the equation in point-slope form, that is

y - b = m(x - a)

where m is the slope and (a, b) a point on the line

here m - 7 and (a, b) = (1, 2), hence

y - 2 = 7(x - 1) ← in point-slope form

distribute and simplify

y - 2 = 7x - 7 ( add 7 to both sides )

y + 5 = 7x ( subtract y from both sides )

5 = 7x - y

7x - y = 5 ← in standard form
