Simplifying the second equation, you get

5y=-30x+15

y=-6x+3

The first and second equation are the same, meaning that there are infinitely many solutions.

Answer:

The system of equation has infinitely many solutions.

Explanation:

To know the number of solution the system of equation is having, we will first solve, we can solve this system of equation either by elimination or substitution method or both method to. In this case, we will be using substitution method to solve.

y = -6x + 3 ---------(1)

30x + 5y = 15 --------(2)

We will substitute equation (1) in equation (2)

That is we will replace any y in equation (2) by -6x + 3

30x + 5(-6x + 3) = 15

We go ahead and open the bracket

30x -30x + 15 =15

15 = 15 ( which is true)

This shows that the system of equation has infinitely many solutions.
