For table C, there is no x-value that has more than one y-value.

Explanation:

A function must not have the same first coordinate which is the x-coordinate having more than y-values. So that it can pass the vertical line test.

For table A, we have
(0,-4),(0,4).

Since there is at least an x-value having more than one y-value, it ceases to be a function.


For table B, we have
(5,-1),(5,3).

Since there is at least an x-value having more than one y-value, it ceases to be a function.

For table C, there is no x-value that has more than one y-value.


For table D, we have
(-2,1),(-2,-3) and
(2,1),(2,-3)

Since there is at least an x-value having more than one y-value, it ceases to be a function.
