But YX = 2 PX so its area = 8 *2PX = 16*PX.

We are given that area of PQX is 1/6 of the area of WXYZ, so we have the equation:-

16 PX = 6* 1/2*PX * QX

16 = 3QX

QX = 16/3 = 5.33

Finally WQ = WX - QX

= 8 - 5.33

= 2.67
