If the denominators aren't equal, you'll have to find the lcm (lowest common multiple), for example, if we have the fractions 3/6 and 1/4, we would find the lcm of 6 and 4, which is 12 and multiply the numerators accordingly. So the fractions would then become 6/12 and 3/12, this makes it easier for you to figure out their order from least to greatest.
