in politics today, the focus may at times be on the good looks of the candidate or other aspects of his/her personality. Should the focus be on other things? If so, what do you think voters should consider when researching the candidates? What questions should they ask?

You should look how they have handled various situations in the past and focus on the candidates moral standards. You should view their policies and get an understanding of what they believe and what they stand for. Politicians who only look good or have money can't operate a government properly, but a candidate with a level head and good policies can.

You should definitely focus on the candidates moral standards and look how they have handled various situations in the past. View their policies and get an understanding of what they believe and what they stand for. Good hair or a pretty face can't run a country, but a candidate with a level head and good policies can.
