Well to be honest the poem contradicts itself. Because the first is the shuns the blandishments of Art which will mean everything pleasant in art is removed with something ugly maybe like a Lie which would mean it probably condones the lie. But then it says it severs truth from fiction. Which would mean it takes the truth from the fiction which would probably stand in Honesty. But it is honestly confusing. But I feel you safest bet would be to try C first and if it is wrong retry for A.
