Suppose you have four 500 MB hard drives plus one 2 GB flash drive. How many GB of capacity is this overall?

1Gb = 1000Mb


500 * 4 = 2000mb

2 * 1000 = 2000mb

2000 + 2000 = 4000mb
4000Mb รท 1000Mb = 4Gb

Explained again:

Four 500 mb drives:

500 + 500 = 1000mb = 1Gb

500+500 = 1000Mb = 1Gb

1Gb+1Gb = 2Gb

plus the 2Gb flash drive:

2Gb + 2Gb = 4Gb
