We have given an equation ,

y/4 = 3x / 4 + 2

this can be rewritten as :

Multiply both sides by 4

y =3x + 8

Now , plug x- values

x-values y-values

-2 y =3*(-2) + 8 = 2

0 y = 3* 0 + 8 = 8

2 y = 3*2 + 8 = 14
