Step 1: Divide the rectangle into 8 equal sections

Step 2: Draw a thick line at
(3)/(8)

Step 3: Divide the
(1)/(8) in sections in half (which creates
(1)/(16) sections).

Step 4: Count the number of
(1)/(16) sections in the
(3)/(8) section where you drew the thick line. There are 6 of them. Half of those
\bigg((3)/(16)\bigg) is where you should draw another thick line.

Each section is
(3)/(16) acres
