Answer:

x = -(15)/(2)

Explanation:

Hello!

The formula for the AOS is given to you, and you simply have to plug in the information given by the equation.

Equation of a Parabola (Standard):
y = ax^2 + bx + c

Comparing it to our equation:

  • a = 1
  • b = 15
  • c = 3

Plug it in to the AOS formula:

  • x = (-b)/(2a)

  • x = (-15)/(2(1))

  • x = -(15)/(2)

You only have to input 15 in to the correct box since the negative sign is already placed for you.
