People like to believe that the word is stronger than the sword.
“The sword can kill a man, but the word can kill a kingdom”
To which I answer
“Would the word have been able to kill a kingdom without the sword to do it for him?”
The word is only strong because it’s backed by the sword. Without the sword, or the threat of it, the word would hold no meaning
