Explanation:

C^2=A^2+B^2

C^2=13 A^2=5 B^2=?

13^2=5^2+B^2

169-25=B^2

B^2=144

√(144)

B=12

Answer:

12

Explanation:

a^2+b^2=c^2. This is the pythagorean theorem.

c^2-a^2=b^2.

Substitute c and a

13^2-5^2=b^2

169-25=b^2

144=b^2

sqrt144=b

b=12.

Hope this helps plz hit the crown :D
