(i) 80 (ii) 85

Explanation:

The median is the middle number in a sorted, ascending or descending, list of numbers.

sort the numbers in the first problem:

50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110

find the middle:

80

sort the numbers in the second problem:

60, 70, 80, 90, 120, 140

find the middle number:

it's between 80 and 90, which mean that we have to find the average of these two numbers

to find the average add all the values and divide by how many values there are:

(80+90)/2=85

The median for the first set is 80 and the median for the second set is 85
