To find : a) Work out Colin's mean score.

Solution:

1, 16, 5, 25, 26, 32, 5, 7, 1, 7

Total Score = 1 + 16 + 5 + 25 + 26 + 32 + 5 + 7 + 1 + 7 = 125

Total Innings = 10

Mean Score = 125/10 = 12.5

Colin plays cricket again on Sunday. He gets 29 runs.

=> New Total Score = 125 + 29 = 154

New Total Innings = 10 + 1 = 11

New Mean Score = 154/11 = 14

Mean Score = 12.5

New Mean Score = 14
