Why do amphibian eggs need to be produced in water?

The eggs cannot be exposed to a lot sunlight.
All amphibians are only found in water.
The eggs cannot be exposed to wind.
The eggs do not contain hard shell around it to prevent it from drying.

The eggs do not have a hard shell around it too prevent it from dying.

Birds like ducks and chickens have an egg with a hard outside made up of calcium carbonate which protects the insides of the egg. Amphibians lack this hard part therefore they are bound to the water. Without being in water, amphibian eggs will dry out and be ruined.

Hope this helps
