The first U.S. territory to grant women the right to vote was Wyoming in 1869. Fifty-

one years later, the Nineteenth Amendment was passed and women gained the right
to vote nationally.

Answer:

On 1-27-20, (1920) Wyoming voted to ratify the 19th Amendment. In fact, Wyoming was the 1st territory or state in our nation's history to grant females/women the right to vote. When Wyoming was still a territory, legislators passed the Wyoming Suffrage Act of 1869. This act gave females/women in the territory the right to vote.
