The correct answer to this open question is the following.
I can relate and connect the philosophy of Andrew Carnegie "My Heart is in the Work" to my interest in attending the Summer Academy for Math and Science (SAMS) in that it is a specialized college program offered by Carnegie University that can give more opportunities to grow as a student in important academic fields such as biology, mathematics, and physics. This would make me a better "future professional" to do my work with commitment.
How will participating in SAMS impact your interest in research, helping others, and your academic and career goals?
The program will give a broader perspective of the academic and research fields that could be useful for most people in the future. I will have the chance to know more options to research and the benefits they will produce.
How will your past experience contribute to and influence the success of the current program? Most importantly, how will your work shape the curriculum in order to make a difference for students who attend SAMS in future years?
Because I have been a committed student that has learned new things and this has sparked new questions for the benefit of science. My experience will enrich the high-level knowledge because my questions will open new ways of thinking and that is of the utmost importance in science: more questions, better approaches.
