The buying and selling rate of 1 pound are rs 148 and rs150 respectively. Gorkhe bought pound sterling of rs 60000.And sold in the next day in which Nc is devaluated by 10% what will be the profit percent?

  • 11.49% profit

Explanation:

  • Buying rate = Rs. 148
  • Selling rate (initially) = Rs. 150

Selling rate after devaluation:

  • Rs. 150 + 10% = Rs. 150*1.1 = Rs. 165

Rate difference:

  • 165 - 148 = 17

Profit %

  • 17/148*100% = 11.49%
