Please help! I think of a number, I double it, and then add 3. The result is 19. Write this in the form of an equation and then solve the equation to find the number I was thinking of.

Answer:

8

Explanation:

Y×2+3=19

19-3=16

16÷2=8

You subtract the 3 first to get what the number was when doubled. After getting that number you would divide it by 2 to get the number that you thought of.
