Question

My brother is 11 years older than me. Today is my 13th birthday and he is 24. (Yes my birthday is Christmas Eve) Anyways, my brother and I have no relationship at all. In fact he seems to hate me. I try to talk to him and he interrupts saying “Shut up I seriously couldn’t care less” I don’t know what to do at this point. He buys me devices for Christmas and my birthday and acts like that makes him the best brother ever. My parents are divorced and I’ve really been in so much pain mentally as of late that it is hard to get out of bed. I feel so trapped inside my life. I just want to leave this world. I don’t know what I’m doing but I just needed to say something.

Happy birthday!❤️ I’m in a similar situation, you aren’t alone. Just because he buys you things for Christmas/birthday definitely doesn’t make him the “best brother ever”, and I understand how you feel, it’s hard. My dad has older kids from a previous marriage and his kids have always treated me differently and never care to talk to me. You’re life is worth living, things get rough but don’t let them knock you down. You’re so strong and you can get through anything.
