Answer:

length = 32 cm, breadth = 16 cm

Explanation:

let breadth be b then length is 2b, then

2b + 2(2b) = 96

2b + 4b = 96

6b = 96 ( divide both sides by 6 )

b = 16

Thus

breadth = 16 cm and length = 2 × 16 = 32 cm

Answer:

breadth=16cm and length=32cm

Let breadth be X

According to question,

lengtg=2X

Now,

Perimeter=2(l+b)

or,96=2(2X+X)

or,96=2(3X)

or,96=6X

or,96/6=X

or,X=16cm.

length =32 cm and breadth =16 cm
