Would a dog park be a threatening environment for a cat? Why or why not?

Since dogs are loyal and can workout in a group unlike cats , the park is not a threaten to a cat , cats can have a park if they want but they are not friendly creatures they do not listen to their masters and they don’t know how to behave unlike dogs which can be trained.

The majority of cats can happily coexist with a dog if they are given time to comfortably get to know each other. If a puppy and kitten are raised together, they generally will learn right away to tolerate each other, and some cats and dogs grow to be real friends, even playing and napping together.
