Due to the fact they were mainly made up of soldiers and adventurers, they had issue of feeding themselves because foods is different and there was no single farmer among them who could have cultivated what they are commonly used to.

Lastly, they were disappointed that, they didn't find the treasure they seek out for in the first place but rather looted the Spanish fleets before returning to England.
