Anthropology sees the culture as the intertwined web of connected factors. Human beliefs can’t be separated from their settlements, history, bodies, practices, rituals, etc. That is why anthropologists have to take the whole culture into the account when observing the element of their study and have to think about it as a unifying factor.

This is called the holistic method. To view something holistically means to see that it is inherently interconnected as the system, and can only be referred to as a whole and by taking all the factors into the consideration.
