This Isn't about homework, but if u say something like 'hey i like u why aren't we together' just to get a guys attention, and he says "Don't play around like that there's people that actually like you " , does that mean he likes that person by saying "there's people that actually like you".

No, it doesn't actually mean that they like u but it means that they're trying to get rid of u or they don't like u or mayb they're jealous that there are actually more people who like u and it's just not him/her so he/she might have got angry :)

if something like this has happened in ur life don't just give up, u can always find another person in ur life .
