Answer:
385cm^(2)

Explanation:

given data:

AB= 10 cm.

BC = 22 cm.

volume of a cylinder V =
\pi r^(2) h

h = 10.

solution

base of the circumference = 22cm

circumference of a circle =
2\pi r

r = radius is unknown.

2\pi r = 22 .........................eq1

where
\pi = (22)/(7) insert this into eq1.

2* (22)/(7)* r = 22

(44)/(7) r = 22

r = (22)/((44)/(7) )

r= 3.5cm

next we solve for the volume of the cylinder.

recall
V = \pi r^(2) h

h = 10cm

r = 3.5cm

V = (22)/(7) * (3.5)^(2) *10

V = 385cm^(2)
