The sum of two numbers is 11. The larger number is 1 less than twice the smaller number. What are the two numbers?

Which equations can be used to express the problem as a system of two linear equations in slope-intercept form? Select all that apply.
y = one-half x minus 1
y = 2x –1
y = x –11
y = x + 11
y = 11 – x

and what do the points do,this is unrelated, but i have no idea

Answer:

The two numbers are 4 and 7

Explanation:

Since 4 is the smaller number, we can multiply it by 2 to give us 8 which from that we can confirm that 7 is also the right number since it is 1 less than twice the smaller number.

I am sorry but I can't help with the second part because I don't understand it myself. I hope the first part helped you though! Sorry again for not being able to help with everything.
