x+5 = 2x+8 Is the question right ?
Answer : -3
There are two ways to solve this in which both ways result as -3
Option 1:
x+5=2x+8
-8 + 5 = 2x - x
x = -3
Option 2:
x+5=2x +8
x-2x = -5+8
-x = 3
x = -3
(You can’t keep “x” in negative form)
